New coilover for my ep3

My gripe with these Brands (not naming any names) is they don't test their suspension. The design, yes all well and good it's with people who know what they're on about. But they don't test them, they put them on sale and hope the best.

With suspension you want proper R&D, you want to know the coilover has been developed rather than just testing it on CAD where the theory would be correct.

At least with big companies like Bilstein they've been developed properly. Not thrown up a design, hope the best and hope people give you money.

There's also a reason why you're getting a fully adjustable coilover for £800. It's because and there's no beating around the bush here, made cheaply.

I have seen several blogs elsewhere that Meister have done various stages of testing on their suspension.

Finally i m as confused as at the begining!! There are 'lovers' and 'haters' for both brands and the conclusion for me is that i ll go with the cheapest one and may God be with me

Sorry for the month old bump but since my question is related I might as well post it in here.

The EP3 I am picking up this weekend has Tein Street Advance Z coilovers (link here: https://www.cplracing.co.uk/products/tein-street-advance-z-honda-civic-type-r-ep3) and not quite sure what category they fall under. Says they are designed for the street so hopefully not too crashy.

If I was to replace them though it will most likely be B14/B16 or a KW of some sort. Suspension, tyres and brakes are not something people should skimp on as they are the only components keeping you safe and planted on the road.
