It would be a really good idea to have a "Forced Induction" forum and also an "Engine Building" forum on here guys, lots more people are now using FI and tips, experience and setups would be really useful to the masses, also a forum for engine building would demonstrate different engine build variants for our beloved K20.

I know what you mean, I think we should be using more sub forums for specialised stuff, also the same for the classifieds & traders sections otherwise the forum main index page will look too cluttered.

On Talk Audio the sub forums are visable from the main index page it it looks a lot less messy, isn't that something that can be implemented here?

The Traders section is now using a sub-forum structure.

This could be used to similar effect elsewhere on the forum - admin will comment further I am sure.

The official word...

"We're thinking about it."

There you have it folks! Any other admin care to comment more sensibly?

This is what it looks like on Talk Audio, its much tidier and I think that everything in the "Deels for Wheels" Section should be like that, would make the forum look a lot neater IMO.

Looks good the way the sub forums are displayed.

Very good work

Andy, how did you do it? I need to know so i can do something similar on my supersprint forum

Looks good :)

Are all the relevant threads going to be moved into their sub forums now?

Easy mate... go into the vBulletin admin CP and vBulletin Options -> Forums Listings Display Options.

Then on that page find the Depth of Sub-Forums and change it to one higher than the value in Depth of Forums - Forum Home.

Job done. All you need to do is then give your subforums a relevant display order when you create them - i.e. 1, 2, 3, etc...

Cheers,
Andy
