New ignition key?

Hi All,

Just picked up a CTR (05 Facelift) road car at the weekend (also have a Civic Cup Car) and I only got 1 key and fob with it.

Ive done some searching and it seems pretty easy to get a new / used fob and program it to the car, but I couldnt find any info on replacing a key. Do they have a chip in for the immobiliser and if so where can I get a replacement?

Ive attached a pic of the key and fob and there doesnt appear to anywhere obvious that it opens up for a chip....

 
Ok, so its a trip to the stealers for a new key?

I have all the paperwork with the keycode card, but wasnt sure if that was for the physical key or a chip inside....
 
The chip is in the key itself, the plastic part.

It has to be hacked up to get it out, not recommended.

Honda or some other key places can do it.
