Nocking noise

Hi,
Iv fited some lowering springs on my ep3 civic type r.
And I keep on hearing a nocking noise from the front left when I'm driveing over bumps in the road
Woud this be somethink up with the damper or woud it be somethink with the top mount??

Did the springs have bump stops? if not did you fit any?

Sorry about the grammar.
And I'm not shore about bump stops.
I just took the legs off took the springs off and put the lowering springs on and put it all back on the car.
I'm new to all this because this is my first honda.
So any help I would be great full.

When you changed your OEM springs to your new springs, did you fit the spring sleeves?

They're a rubber sleeve like 4kas said. Basically goes on the dead coils ( The ones closer together) and stops the metal to metal bang/clunk noise.

I don't remember fitting these.
I was going to take the left leg off next week end and have a look if anythink is up.
I will check if I have these or not.
If I haven't where can I get some from?

You have them in your OEM springs.

also not to forget the obvious!! would be no harm to give the nut on the top mount a squeeze might have seem'd tight when you put it in but could have loosed abit when you drove the car.. hope you get it sorted
