Petrol light??

The other day a ran out of petrol due to my petrol light not coming on. I've had my itr dc5 for 3 weeks now and the light has been on before (was on when I bought it), but it didn't work this time. Could the bulb have gone or has anybody else experienced this problemCheers maz

Check the bulb they do go.

Could be worse...In the kraut invader my petrol light comes on at quarter of a tank anyway :lol:

It was still showing above empty and with only owning the car a couple of weeks wasn't sure. At least I know now to not let it happen again ha

Have you any idea how to get the bulb out? I'm not very good with things like this or would you just take it to a garage? Cheers 

The gauge can appear to be jus above Empty when it is running on fumes mate, sounds like a bulb problem. Always better t be safe than sorry
