remove rear wiper?

Rear wiper has stopped working, never used it anyway so i have decided to remove it and use a rubber bung for the JDM look.
Can anyone give me any advice or tips on how to do it? or is it as straight forward as just pulling the thing off?

A bung can be got from your local electrical wholesale. For cheaper than any on eBay.
