just bought a shell helix ultra af 5w30 fully synthetic for my ep3

the shop keeper never had it on the shopfloor so he said 5w30 is just good as 40 grade. Iam happy its a fully synthetic and its a shell brand

Shopkeepers do sometimes tell you what you want to hear if they haven't got a product you want. Selling stock to you is quite an important part of owning a shop.

It's okay, but if you like to use the VTEC, it will probably burn it off quickly. Like the others said, a 5w-40 is a better option
