Steering wheel replacement

Hi All

I'm looking to get my steering wheel re-leathered. A mate had his done and it looks amazing but took 2 weeks. I'm looking at purchasing a second steering wheel and spotted a cheap one on fleabay but it has more controls than what I have on mine.

If I buy this would the additional controls work? Will any of them work?

I'd rather send off the one from fleabay and then fit it when it's been done.

I used royal steering wheels - http://royalsteeringwheels.com, bought an old crappy EP3 steering wheel sent it off and kept my good original , had it covered in alcantara with a red stripe centre top - great quality job

What car do you have (I'm using tapatalk and can't see any clues)?
If you have an fn2 I have a spare steering wheel I can sell you. I could even send it straight to Royal if you like.. I have a small problem that I go on holiday on Friday though.

Depends which buttons you're referring to btw. I doubt they'd work without the relevant modules, etc.
