TDi North “Street Turbo kits are now available to order.
This kit is designed for people that don’t want the full blown race kits but something more conservative for everyday use but can be wound up if you so require. Designed with power output running stock wastegate pressure, when the optional boost control system is added power outputs from 250-450+bhp can be expected.
The manifolds are unique to us being a stainless steel log type which places the turbo behind the engine and the wastegate underneath. The Turbo used is a T3 Precision rated at 490bhp. We are also using high quality Tial wastegate and BOV with stainless steel exit dump pipe that can either be routed back into the exhaust or vented to atmosphere if required. The downpipe is 2.5’’ designed to bolt straight up to any aftermarket 2.5’’ exhaust system as standard or we can produce a 3.0’’ downpipe as an optional upgrade. As with our race kits these are true mandrel bent 304 sanitary grade stainless steel. The entire kit is fully Tig welded in house, with Argon back purging on selected parts.
The oil lines in this kit are produced by Pirtek. These hoses are high temp and high pressure rated with swaged fittings to ensure maximum reliability – we are yet to see another company other than Full-Race include hoses of this quality as standard.
Our prices start from £2500 plus VAT for the ‘bolt on’ kit. Optional extras include 725cc and 1000cc injectors, uprated in tank fuel pump, map sensor, and ceramic coating options. Just like our race kits, we employ unique construction techniques, materials and features such as a proper AIT fitting and bead rolled aluminium pipe work etc this represents the best value for money high quality turbo conversion on the market today. This kit will come with the after sales support that TDI-North are renowned for.
Ideally we would have a car left with us for 1 week so we can install heat control systems within the engine bay, install the kit and fully dyno tune the car. All that we require for the customer to have on the car is a minimum of 2.5’’ cat-back exhaust and a Hondata ECU to allow us to carry out this conversion, everything else will be included in the kit.
