im really tempted to join you guys again. when is easter next year??? is it early or late???

I love the ring despite the spin....

I somehow dont think Caz will let me take the DC5 on it again thou, I think I will have to invest in a cheap track car.

I hope to go to The Ring next year, so if there is going to be a meet down there let me know.
A few questions,
1. How do you know if your insurance is valid on The Ring.
2. Who do you get breakdown cover with.

1 read your policy and see if it says if your covered for ' declassified toll roads'

2. depending on how old your car is. im guessing you have a ctr and its less than 3 year old. ie it still has a warrenty. then the honda assist is valid and will recover you/fix you in europe.

Were any people turned away for noise Chris?

I had Spoon & Toda manifold last time I went and didnt need to put the bung in. Then again I didn't sit in the car park revving it and went through the barriers with the clutch in as much as possible!

If your car is noisy then the best thing to do is lock it in the carpark and walk away from it so they cant find you to run a noise check!

Two other top tips not specific to anyone in particular -

Get good travel insurance (medical etc)

If you plan on using the ring regularly then getting German AA cover is a good idea. Think cover starts from around £35 p/a but they will recover cars from the ring back to your door! http://www.adac.de/

I also got to do this, I would imagine though when I go my car will be pusing a few more BHP than the run of the mill Civics :)

So have to take it easy
