Has anyone got one? Did it bring your insurance down? If so, how much?

I heard it said once that trackers only reduce a premium when the insurers ask for one as part of the package.

Didn't bring my premium down Chris. Infact as I declared it, it was then an obligation for it to be on and working as part of the policy.

Also the Tracker insurance discount scheme (e.g. 5% premium saving) wasn't upheld with any of the companies I rang around on their list. :?

Found it made a saving of only £10 per annum - that isnt very good against an insurance price of around £300
Also would you really want a car back if it has been hammered after been stolen ?
