Hey all.
I'm new to the forum and Type-R ownership but not Honda.

I have a UK EP3, and one of my modifications is to install wiper and light combination switches from JDM equivalents. This is purely to be different. Am I right in thinking the DC5 combination switch and squib is similar to JDM EP3? If it is then I am willing to buy one from a DC5 being broken. Cutting and soldering is not a problem. The only car where this was plug and play (harness plugs from squib to footwell fusebox) was my old Subaru Impreza.

Do you mean so you have the switches the opposite way around (wipers on the left and indicators on the right)?

If so I did this in an MB6 I used to own. Had to get the stalks from a Civic so the plugs were correct, extend the wiper wiring and then rearrange the wires in each plug as it needed to be the opposite way around. I hope that makes sense.

I suspect it may be a similar job in an EP3, but I would think the stalks from the DC5 or JDM EP3 would do the job. FD2 might be worth a punt too?

It's great when someone replies with a 'Can Do' attitude rather than the usual lazy "buy a DC5 or JDM EP3" lol. I know someone breaking a DC5 so I will take a punt on the assembly and pigtails.

Haha yeah I know what you mean! I like to try different mods and if it comes off well then I've got a unique mod that everyone wants but doesn't have! :)

I may even give it a go on my own EP3!
