Seriously, get some Castrol Edge 5w40 fully synthetic. Halfords do it pretty cheaply but I think there's also a sale on at Opie Oils for it. They also do forum discount.

5w 40 shell helix ultra of car parts for less for 23 quid delivered.

Always ran my Type R's on Shell helix ultra 5W40 it is a good oil.

Just changed the oil today in my EP3 with 5-40 Fuchs Titan (took the entire 5l) and a Mahle filter

5w40 from any A-brand oil (mobil-shell-castrol-motul...)
If you have à higher milage engine 100.000+ miles i would recommend 10w40 from any A-brand oil and shorten the oil change intervals. Or if you have à forced induction setup best to always use 10w40
