White spots appearing??

Hi lads was cleaning my milano red ep3 and noticed on the mirrors,passenger door handle and spoiler some faint white spots!its like the paint is fading in spots! it is only on the plastic pieces the rest of the paintwork is perfect! is their and solution for this or just respray?tryed using tcut and doest seem to work! its not really that noticeable but im fussy thanks!

Did you every get this sorted and did you have to respray it ?

Sounds to me like this could be stone chips? I had a red Leon FR and it used to get little white spots as the undercoat was white.
