XXR 527 17" x 9.75J ET25 5x100 5X114

Hi guys, new here since I picked up my first EP3 2004 model. Looking to fit XXR 527 17" x 9.75J ET25 5x100 5X114 on the car but want to know if they'll fit from the inside, I'm not bothered about the arches as I plan to get them cut/welded and then extension or over arches kit fitted.

I had the same wheels in 15 x 8.25J ET35 fitted on my Del Sol and looking for similar look on the Civic.
I'll be installing Skunk2 Pro C Coilovers, but not looking to drop the car by far, may be few mm but this is more for handling and make it stiffer.

The other option is to go 17 x 8.25 ET35 but I just got a feeling they're not gonna be wide enough to give me the same look I had on the Sol.

Any advise or input on this would be appricated.

5x100 won't fit, it's the wrong PCD. Only 5.114.3 will.

Anything lower than ET30 (width dependent) will require serious arch work.

Not to mention, the further you go off centre will increase bump and torque steer. I've just spent a small fortune on suspension components and rare wheels to bring my wheel centre back as close as possible to the ackerman zero angle and reduce scrub radius. You'll be going backwards on both by doing this.
