    Default mixing oil...?

I have just got a FN2 and dont know what oil is currently in it. The oil looks in good shape from the dip stick, but needs a top up.
Can i just put a good 5w-40 in or is this going to to cause a problem if there is a different spec oil in there already?
Dont really want to drain and change if i can avoid it...

    Many thanks!!

    Default mixing oil...?

It will be fine until you next do a full change.

The level is more important than the mixing of oil/potential different grades (in the short term).
