Just managed to drain and refill the FN2 gearbox without disturbing the annoying engine undercover
All was done from the passenger side once the wheel was out of the way and steering was full right
Hope this helps someone - my gearbox oil was black and filthy, car has barely 50K (rear tyres are still the originals FFS)
upper 3/8" extension leads to filler plug, lower one to drain plug (wobbly ones help navigate better)
Torqued them up 40NM drain, 44NM filler.
created a funnel extension with some hose I had lying around, so gravity helped the thick oil move quickly.
It took less than 2lt, funny thing is it was kinda overfilled from the factory (a bit). Car was level and at least 50cc dribbled out when I undid the filler plug. Maybe 100cc.
I'm sure it is purring happy now
