Hi All,
I'm just in the middle of doing my valve clearances (first 25k).
I've moved the crank around and it appears that the intake + exhaust cam cogs have skipped 1 tooth. The two circle indentations are one out from the coloured links when they both rotate around.
Thoughts? What should I do next? Can this be fixed by just slackening the chain and moving the cogs back a tooth?
Secondly, the intake cams are on 0.008" - i have to pull it quite tough to make it move back and forth. The exhaust is on 0.009", and tight once again. Maybe its my lack of experience but it feels like too tight a fit. Should I think of slackening it slightly?
Thanks for reading!
