Purely a guess but I would say yes you can however because its an AUX input you would still need to control the action on the screen from the iPhone itself and not the controls on the steering wheel.

You may be lucky then and it'll have an AUX at the very least.

I believe from an earlier thread its a 04 Vectra Diesel. If it is an 04 Vectra there will be no Aux input so a new headunit will be needed.

Only with a dedicated USB connection which will also charge the iPhone. Aux only will have no display.

On most modern cars you have either an AUX socket, USB socket or both. With an Aux socket you still need to control the iPod yourself. In my Volvo with USB I can control the whole thing from the steering wheel controls, shuffle, select playlists etc.

You've already highlighted the major difference which is insurance. The only other implication is if you were to try and part exchange it later on down the line. The motor trade dislike imports but most people tend to sell on privately anyway.

Doesn't really go into specifics but reading between the lines it looks like the 3 door CTR is the way forward. :?
