i have an fN2 and its used as a family car with 2 kids, there is no need to buy a diesel 5 dor ever. I tried it and got rid after 5 months to get my FN2. Loads of room in the boot and the back for leg room.

well i had them fitted yesterday and with the new grooved discs i can safely say they are amazing. No noise and cant see an brake dust as of yet either. As regards to them being illegal, like you say i would love a copper to tell me to take them off. They are for safety for crying out loud.

Just bought the ferodo ds2500 :) will be fitted next week, lets hope they live up to the hype

Does anyone know how to remove the gear gaiter on an ep3 civic? my dad has bought a new one to replace the old one. It looks like the new one has 3 hooks under the chrome rim.

I went from an ep3 to an fn2 and looking back the ep3 looks dated now so doeS the Interior. The fn2 is nicer looks nicer sounds nicer and is every bit as quick. Much better range in the vtec too. Don't watch the top gear review its a load of bull. I loved my ep3 but the fn2 is on a different level

I was looking at some brembo discs for an ep3 they were £100. A lot cheaper than the fn2 ones

Does anyone know what brake discs are worth getting. I want drilled and grooved discs. Looking on ebay i can get a pair for £95. Will these be ok or cheap immitations as EBC discs drilled and grooved are £220.00

On a dual carriageway and it came from nowhere. Been to Honda and they have fixed it however need a new fog light as the casing bracket has snapped

I have hit a cat doing 70 mph this morning and all the clips on the arch have snapped off and by front bumper has come detached at the bottom, does anyone know where i can get this fixed? Oh and the fog light has come out too.

All parts on eBay £350 not new but as new front £200 back £150

Has anyone had to fit new wheel arch skirt clips as some how mine have snapped off and the skirt round the wheel arch is now not flush to the bodywork and doesn't meet with the bottom of the front bumper....

Can anyone tell me on the FN2 rear bumper which some have the bottom panel in black. Does this just clip off from the main bumper as I would like to spray mine, and is the front the same?

The Bridgestone on the rear of my car lasted 5 years just had replaced still has 4 mil on due to all new tyres

I have just notice when I go over bumps in the road there is a knocking noise which sounds like its coming from the drivers side front wheel or sometimes it sounds like the back. It actually sounds like a plastic rattling noise. It's not the inner wheel arch I have checked that. Any ideas what...

well its back and the gear box feels nice and tight :) happy days and didnt pay a penny

well the car went in today to be fixed and had a call and the gear box has been sent to a specialist to be fixed :-/

Arnold Clark doing mine as i have only just bought it so doing it under the warranty luckily for me. Its annoying. It happened on my old ep3 too

Well been to Arnold Clark and they have put the job through under Warranty for the 3rd and 4th gear synchro :-) Just waiting on the parts to be ordered and taking it in to be done next week :-)

look at the above pic on Fault 6 it mentions clicking although it might be nothing.

that sounds like mine it doesnt happen all the time thats why i think Arnold Clark will just say they think its ok. But my clutch clicks at the bottom and third gear doesnt feel right when cold.

I rang Honda and as it doesnt have extended warranty they wont do it :-(

Just rang Arnold Clark and they said it will be covered under the warranty however do you think they will just say they can't tell as it only happens on a few occasions in the cold. Shall I just leave it and get the telegraph warranty which is £400 for the year ad they pay out for everything. So...

just bought an FN2 and when cold sometimes struggles to get into 3rd gear. It doesnt pop out of third just crunches when putting it in 3rd. When warm its fine.
