Hi all, I am going to be replacing a rear caliper on my ep3 soon and wanted to know if the brake reservoir cap should be on or off whilst bleeding the caliper or does it make no difference? Also, ignition on or off whilst bleeding?

When I had my rack refurbed I replaced part numbers 7 and 8 aswell because they can get damaged when the rack is taken apart. I was told this by the guy that did the refurb for me.

Top work on the rust prevention there mate, I'm considering having a go at under sealing my ep3, how easy/hard/messy a job is it and what prep is required?

Top job you're doing there mate it's coming along nicely, when you fitted the rm01a did you stick with oem hangers or did you go for uprated items?

Yes I've been following Nidge's thread and seen that he has fitted the tegiwa. The tailpipe looks just the right size to me, not too big.

Thanks for the info so far guys, an RM01A would be nice but it's out of my price range, I'm leaning towards the tegiwa but I'm still not sure.

I use the car everyday so don't want anything too loud, budget is around £500 and I don't want anything with a big 4"+ tailpipe which is why I was thinking piper or possibly tegiwa, those two seem to fit my criteria.

I think MJC automotive have fog scoops listed on their website, don't know what the fitment is like though.

As I'm in the market for a new cat-back system for the ep3 I was wondering if anyone had any experience of piper systems, they are in the right price bracket for me and I believe they are one of the quieter systems available, has anybody got one on their ep3?

Yes I'm sure you have to buy the wishbone or knuckle complete to get the ball joint. I know you can buy ball joints on ebay for around £20 a pair, are these items worth buying or are they useless?

I don't think you can buy just the ball joints from honda can you?

Just carrying this thread on can anyone recommend which ball joints to buy for the ep3, was thinking of hardrace or meyle?

Top work on the ep3 mate, looks like some good progress being made, and a cracking list of previous cars particularly the M3 and the DC2.

I think SRS is the manufacturer, I know that they are available through MJC automotive and they don't sound too loud either, although if nobody on here has one I will probably end up getting the tegiwa cat back when they are back in stock.

Hi, does anyone have the srs r60 catback fitted to their ep3, and if so what is the quality/fitment like? I'm thinking about buying one and just wanted some opinions from owners. Thanks.

Yes I've had a few things done at red r, steering rack refurb, valve clearances, ball joints etc, I would definitely recommend them, Matt's work is always spot on.

I got my clutch fitted by red r performance near northampton. If you live anywhere in that area they are well worth a look.

I've just had a new clutch fitted and the pedal is now very light in comparison to how it was before and the gear changes are also lighter and slicker than before, but my old clutch was on 106,000 miles so it was well worn.

Hi all, when removing the drivers seat on an ep3 do I have to disconnect the battery before unplugging and re-connecting the seatbelt warning connection?

Hi all, I'm going to replace my rear arb bushes with polybushes, can it be done without removing the roll bar, and can anyone recommend which grease to use to stop the bushes from being noisy. Thanks.

Ep3 premier front calipers and fn2 type r front calipers are the same, I have one of each on my premier at the moment,the only difference is that the 'type r' lettering is slightly different, but it is hardly noticeable. I got my reconditioned calipers from brakes international in Rochdale.

Hi all, can anyone recommend a set of wheel nuts for the ep3 that include locking nuts to fit the team dynamics pro race 1.2? Also any recommendations on which wheel sealant to get? Thanks.

Has anyone here had their car fail an m.o.t due to making an incision in the rubber gaiter? If not I might try this lubricating method on my ep3 as I'm also hearing the dreaded steering rack creak!
