This inaccuracy is well known. On the early 8G models it was indeed 10%, reduced to about 6% on MY09 models. The 9G Civs are about 3%. If you want to correct it, and are OK with DIY, you can install a 'Speedo Healer'. Designed for bikes but works anyway.

I've not read it too closely either so no idea. Tailgate struts is one issue I've never had. Good point about the extra oomph required to handle the heavier spoiler though, never twigged that before. I suppose a call to the company mentioned might help.

Genuine Honda. They are good and easy to keep clean. They also flex slightly so you can leave them in place to get at the sub boot. I just had to cut off the bottom right section as mine has the premium audio sub woofer in the boot.

One thing to watch is that the aircon temp pipe is still firmly attached behind the cutouts in the lower section or your aircon temp will go haywire. From what I've seen posted it's not a secure fit and can easily become dislodged.
