I am just about to replace my fourth washer jet in four and a half years of ownership. To answer the questions on failure. The power of the fluid diminishes to a point that won't even reach the screen. Anybody else had problems?

I have noticed that I am losing paint from the leading edge of my bonnet. I appreciate that the paint there will be fairly thin, but I have not experienced this on any other car I have owned. Cheers

Thanks for the reply, that makes me feel a bit easier. I also seem to pick up screws and nails quite easily. I guess this is probably due to the soft compound? Has anybody else had similar problems. If so have you gone down the repair route or just replaced? Thanks. Dave

I have just had 2 new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres fitted to the front a couple of days ago. I measured the tread depth today and found that they are at 7.0 mm with slight less at the inner. Is this normal, I thought that they came with around 8mm as new. Cheers

It was £550 for the four wheels. I think it was £75 per wheel to reinstate the red rim, they were effectively painting twice. Cheers

I have had all four of my alloys refurbished and kept the red rim. It can be done, just costs a bit more. A superb job from Demon Wheels in Preston. Cheers

The thought of a repaired tyre on a car with over 300 horses would cause me to lose sleep at night. If its been subject to trauma I replace for peace of mind.

I think mine must have come with the space saver spare wheel i bought at a bargain price. I didn't fancy the idea of filling the tyre full of gunk.

I have had exhausts on my mind for a while now. The triple setup has never really sat that well with me. Its probably the only thing about the car I don't like, although the intermittent wipers seem to have a mind of their own ! I am out of warranty now and am considering the HKS legamax...

I went through two sets of Conti's in under 6K. I am now on Michelin PS4's all round and cannot say that I can detect any discernible difference and I too think that I am going to get much more out of them at the current wear rate. Cheers

Got to agree, I went through a set of Conti's in less than 6000. I have PSP4S on the fronts now and will see how they go.

When I bought my car the guy that did the handover told me I would get about six thousand out of the Conti's. I got five at best, and have since gone to PS4 on the front.

My car is coming up to two years old. I have noticed that the car has quite a number of small stone chips in the windscreen. Has anybody else had a similar experience? I realise that we all travel on different roads etc, but wondered if this was symptomatic? Cheers Dave

I have looked at these, having had them on a 911. I have worn out my Continentals in four and a half thousand miles. I am going to try Michelins in the hope that the better wear rate will balance things out. We'll see! Dave

I have just checked the tread on my fronts. They are just about on the 3mm mark. I will have had about four and a half thousand out of this pair of Continentals, so I am going to order two Michelin Pilot Sport 4s and see how I go with those!

I have had a quote of £70 per wheel previously.I guess that is the way I will go, as I have just put two new Conti's on the front.

Made a mess of my nearside front again today and I am getting hacked off at the ease with which I can do this. Has anybody been moved to change to a different diameter wheel / tyre setup?
