17s to 18s

Hello

Could do with help in Deciding is it a good idea to go from Stock 17s to Aftermarket 18s on a Civic Ep3 Premier Edition, have seen 18s on afew including this past Wknd and looks the part.

Will it effect Handling or Speed much going for the Bigger option?

And Finaly what Size of Offset and Tyres would be suited if so

If you just want looks then they'll fit.

But it'll probably upset the handling and the lower profile tyre will have some effects.

Also, bigger wheel = more weight.

As Allen said, it definitely won't make it faster, but you shouldn't have any problems if you keep the tyre circumference similar to oem. If you like the look then go for it.

One thing I will say; 18s only work on lowered EP3s. They look ridiculous at standard height.

Yeah i saw one Ep3 Type R Slammed on Coilovers there at the Weekend, was nearly buying it if it wasna for the Salesman! Anyway yeah it has to be lowered indeed.
