bit of an update

OEM spoiler is back on

im looking for an OEM bonnet to fit then selling my buddyclub

Picking my D2 330mm brake kit up tomorrow

Why you going back to oem spoiler and bonnet mate? I want your bonnet, but my insurance is due next month :( dam!!

I just fancied another change, going for the oem look bar the black wheel and these D2 brakes.. plus selling my bonnet/spoiler is going towards funding them :lol:

Is it stil wrapped in matt black? Did you find how much cost you to re-laquer the cf?
 
Its still wrapped in matte yes, not sure how much it would cost to bring the carbon back to life but the few bodyshops i asked wouldnt touch it :( maybe a specialist is your best bet but could end up being cheaper buying a new one rather than mine + refurb :lol:
 
Did you ask at TGM in fleet?

I'll try get a quote on Monday, they are £570 + delivery new from funky power I believe as I have looked into them :)

But yeah like you say could end up being easier to buy new, I def would only have it if I can get it refurbed for cheaper then buying it new though mate, I'll let you know if I can get a quote!?

yeah hence why i had it wrapped :lol:

I could post but then i wouldnt be able to drive my car until i received your one

unless i bought a bonnet off someone else, sold you mine, then you sold yours or keep it
 
How much would you want for the bonnet if I kept mine then?!

Posting it would cost a fortune though surely? could meet half way somewhere if I do buy it mate? Birmingham looks in the middle roughly?
 
if i met you in birmingham we could swap bonnets over there, say £180 plus your bonnet ? just to cover a half of the fuel cost :lol:
 
May aswell just swap cars, they look the same anyway haha change the plates over and no-one would know haha!

Ok well I will get back to you and let you know asap if I can find somewhere to re-laquer it for a decent price?!
