215 or 225 Tyres Ep3 Type R

Currently have NS-2R 215/45/17 but they are coming to the end of there lifespan.
I'm wanting either PS4 or Pilot Sport PS2's, they are £30 a corner cheaper if I get the 225 size but I'm wondering if they would rub.

I'm on stock wheels and stock struts but have eibach sportline lowering springs which I think lowers the car by 20mm in the front and 25mm in the rear.

They fit but they’re too wide for the rim really, you end up with a really weird feeling from all the sidewall flex. Stick with the 215 or the stock 205 size IMO.

I currently have 205's (that came on the car), on my first EP3 I used to favor the 215's purely from an aesthetic basis.

They arguably give slightly more protection from curbs as well.

225 fit and perform fine
