Abs light on

Just a quick question.. do the generic obd2 readers read abs fault codes or am I peeing into the wind? its definitely either a dirty or faulty sensor but would rather plug it in and find out which one rather than take them all out and guess

My bluetooth reader didn't pick up my abs fault had to take it to the garage I use and his reader picked it up.

Just to make it more confusing, my Bluetooth reader did pick it up. Mine was a split wheel speed sensor ring thingy.

My Bluetooth reader cost about £7, worth buying to keep in the glovebox anyway.
