Hi all hope we are all well!
I've been having issues with my ABS/VSA light. The car is an fn2 Type R with 98000 miles on an 08 plate......
Got it checked on the computer which said front right ABS sensor so I changed that but the problem remained. Ran another diagnostic result was "ABS pump not responding " so I replaced the ABS unit, and again warning lamp was still on.
Here's the confusing part, sometimes when I'm driving the ABS light clears then the brake pedal feels rough and I can hear a sound like metal on metal when I apply the brakes, followed shortly by the return of the warning light.
Also once the warning light is on the brake pedal feels fine.
I think it's either the hub or electrical issues.
Any suggestions?
Thanks all!
