AEM dry flow filter

Anybody know what i can use in the household to clean the CAI dry flow filter? dont fancy buying the AEM cleaning stuff

I just used water to clean mine mate, fill up sink, let it sit in sink for abit, shake it about, empty sink, then repeat until water and filter nice and clean, let it dry completly and stick back on car! :smt023

Just buy the K&N cleaning kit from halfords for £10
