Aftermarket 4-2-1 Manifold

Hello there

I am looking at getting a aftermarket 4-2-1. I have hear so many different story regarding that the car needs to be mapped to run a 4-2-1 manifold is this true??? As I have spoke to a few company and had different opinions on it

Replacing OEM manifold to any aftermarket ideally needs mapping

plenty run without map but id advise to get it mapped don't feel much benefit fitting one without mapping

It wont run lean on full throttle, because the stock map is richer on top. The problem is part throttle, the stock map is already made a bit lean there because of fuel economy. I doubt that you could do any harm to the engine. But on the long run, it would be better to map it properly to be safe and for even better gains.
