Aftermarket exhaust manifold that retains catalytic converter

I've got a 4-2-1 but it isn't fitted yet. I was just thinking could I get someone to make a cheat pipe type thing with a cat welded in to go directly after the manifold just for mot time? Just like a centre section with a cat on the end, would it work?
