Air Con Cleaner

My air con has been smelling for a little while now whenever I switch it off. A horrible musty smell. :freak:

So I decided to buy one of those air con cleaners off ebay for £8 or so (e.g http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CAR-AIR-CONDI...ryZ72201QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem).
Must say I was a little dubious as to whether it would work or not. However, I used it today and the car is smelling lovely now! All citrusy, and not a hint of that musty smell now when I turn the aircon off! 8) Hopefully all the bacteria has been killed off!

I reccommend this to anyone with dodgy smelling aircon!

My mates dad used one of these in his jeep...his aircon was smelling really foul but now it is sweeeeeeeeet. 8)

I've just got back in from havin a blast in the CTR. I'm sure the aircon is cooler now since I used that stuff?! :?

i got a similar kit from halfords,gratuis with a/c gas charger.
yet to try it.
suppose if i`d paid for it,it would be long gone.

It smells of citrus for about a day I think. After that the car just smells fresh and clean. No more damp sock smell.
