Alcantara seat faded ,can i paint it?

Hi, i noticed the other day that my fn2 rear headrests have faded to light grey and tops of rear bench too.
I was wandering if i could use black fabric spray paint to color them back to black.
Any advice welcome.

I have alcantara inserts in the seats of my other motor, also faded over the years. Unfortunately there's nothing much can be done. One thing I am going to get is some UV protective tint films for the sides and rear and get the windscreen done with clear UV film, that will at least help protect them as/when I get them redone.
