Ant's DC5 #4 - CW!

Messages

Hi all,

I don't usually post on this forum much, spend most of my time on itr-dc5 (as can be seen from only 2 posts since Oct 2008 :) ), so more of a lurker here on TRO, so thought i'd pop in and say hello finally.

So after owning this my 4th DC5 (previously had a Milano, Blue, Black) for nearly 3 months now it's finally getting to a stage where I'm nearly happy with it to put some photos up.

After a full detail today, using my new Meguiars G220 Machine Polisher for the first time since getting it for Christmas, it's beginning to feel more like my car now:

Current Spec (as of 08/01/12):

38,000 miles
Tegiwa M Intake
Spoon 2-1 De-Cat
Toda Dolphin Tail Exhaust
OEM Shocks w/ Eibach Lowering Springs
FRSU
Rota Force Alloys
Rear Strut Brace
Mugen Front Strut Brace
Mugen Oil Cap
Mugen Radiator Cap
Pioneer P4300DVD Touch Screen Double DIN Head Unit
Upgraded Pioneer Tweeters
Pioneer Flat Sub

Since i've owned it, in the 3 months it's had:

OEM Shocks with Eibach Springs + TGM FRSU
New Clutch
Switched the black carpet out for red carpet
Front Grille Added
Replaced Broken Door Kick Plate Trim
Rear Light Leak Fixed with new gaskets and seal
Rear Bumper Re-Fitted with correct brackets
Tegiwa M Re-aligned
Stereo Rewired Correctly as it was shorting
OEM Steering Wheel Fitted
Red Footwell Courtesy LED's Fitted

Still To Do:

Fujitsubo RM01A Exhaust to be fitted next week
New Rear Bench Seat to be fitted next week
Remount and bracket the Tegiwa M and cut the scuttle panel further as it's been done incorrectly by previous owners
Relocate The Fog Light into the Rear Brake Cluster
Get a new Sticky Plate without the previous owner's forum ID on it
Get a new Front H badge
Unroll Wheel Arches
Have Front Bumper Re-Aligned as it doesn't sit completely correctly.

Then it'll be on to modifying it with goodies, KPRO, Header, maybe switching the alloys to something else, once i've got all the niggly items out of the way.
:)

Looking good.

Handy pics for me as I might be selling my Rota Forces to mate with a CW DC5.

Cheers chaps! :)

Been umming and ahing about the Type-R decals, I originally wanted to put them back on, but the smoothed look has grown on me tbh.

Prefer my car without any badges or decal on paint work. Mainly for ease or polishing but also looks smoother
