Any way to bookmark the "What's New?" link?

Most forums I can bookmark start to the 'New Content' link as that's the button I use most - So I get to see the whole forum. but when I bookmark:

• www.type-r-owners.co.uk/forums/search.php?do=getnew&contenttype=vBForum_Post

Which then redirects to:

• http://type-r-owners.co.uk/forums/search.php?searchid=826583

When I reopen Safari/IE/Whatever and click the bookmark, the site tells me:

vBulletin Message

Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.

Is there a different link I can bookmark that will direct me straight to the What's New page?

This is the link I use, same as your first:

http://type-r-owners.co.uk/forums/search.php?do=getnew&contenttype=vBForum_Post

Save that as the bookmark rather than what it redirects to. When you click the bookmark it should kick off the valid redirect.

I tried bookmarking your link mate but once loaded it always made the request then changed the URL.

FYI iPad users - I kinda got around it by bookmarking whilst the page was still loading and the URL hadn't changed yet.

I'm unsure if you can type in a URL when making a bookmark on iPad so that's the way I got around it.

Yep, I think I bookmarked the page then had to edit the bookmark afterwards back to the original.
