At what revs does "your" vtec come in?

Hi all

I am fairly new to the ep3 having never owed one before but i have to say i am very impressed especially when the vtec comes in

Which brings me on to my question......
Is every ep3 slightly different as to when the vtec crossover happens? Some people say 5500rpm some say 5800rpm mine seems to be around 6000rpm/6100rpm in 3rd gear, in 2nd gear it comes on around 5800rpm

Sounds about right. Should be 5,800 on an EP3. 6k might just be slight inaccuracies with the rev counter.
