Battery Earth Cable

Today iv noticed a cable just under the battery seems corroded you can see the wires and its dark in colour
I was wondering weather it is part number 13 http://www.lingshondaparts.com/hond...1&block_02=B__0701&block_03=9815&block_05=hcr

What would be the best procedure for this?
Shall I just shrink wrap it or buy a new,one Honda don't sell this on its own

#8, Part Number 32600-S5T-000, £59 though. Wow.

Do you have a picture of the cable you are after or is it definitely the one above? You could use any earth cable like in the link, however the crimped ends and length are what are important as to whether it will go where you want it to.

I'm going to take the battery out on the weekend get a proper picture up also while that is out I can install the Carbon Battery Cover made by Rigsby

That looks like an earth point on the loom. The other end of it doesn't go to the battery does it?!
