Hello everyone,
My name is Chris and I have been the owner of a 2005 EP3 for about 7 months.
I've been trailing this forum for a while reading and posting here and there and introduced myself back in October.
I've had quite a few vehicles Nissan Silvias, GT86, Audi A4, ...
Now that I have figured out what I plan on doing with the vehicle I figured it was time to do a writeup.
Circling back to September, I bought the car with 55000 miles on it in good nick.
The car is a RHD so I had it imported into Belgium.
It has been my daily driver for a while but I love driving it that much that I have decided to turn it into a fast road/ track vehicle instead of eating up the daily miles in traffic.
The timing could not have been better with the Missus getting a new job and needing a new car I decided to take over her old one.
So my new daily in all it's glory: Toyota Yaris Tsport ( Next to my previous daily, S14a )
Anyhoo, back to the civic. Now that I had decided it was not a daily driver anymore I have had a few things done:
- Blocked off rear wiper
- Double din radio ( The plan was to have digital gauges, but it doesn't look like that is going to work )
- Skunk 2 gearknob
- FC design air intake
- RBF600 Motul gearbox oil
- SRS R60 Full Inox Exhaust
- 4-2-1 PLM Manifold
- Carbonne Loraine brakepads with refurbished calipers, brembo discs and braided lines.
- Original wheels spraypainted black with red centers
- AD08R 215-45-17
The car came with DS2500 pads fitted but those were rubbish.
I bought a JDM gearbox from a breakers as I wanted the shorter gears and of course the holy grail: the LSD.
In April/May I am fitting my fully custom built suspension. I had a drive around in all sorts of coilover kits and none of them swayed me so I decided to dish out and get a custom set built with relatively high springrates.
The new gearbox is going to be fitted at around the same time.
I have no idea how much power the car is making as I have yet to have it dyno'd but I am not fussed that much. Happy with the power as is. Plans for a supercharger are lingering in the back of my head but I am not sure if I will ever do get around to doing that.
Anyway, I should probably stop jabbering and post some pics:
I guess that concludes my writeup.
Thanks for reading!
Cheers,
Chris
