Is this intake any good or is hestsoak just gonna bogg it down?

The Japs seem to love them but that's probably because of the name. There are better intakes out there.

You will get heatsoak from it if you're in slow moving traffic, but you won't notice it too much once you're moving.

Bought the itg today cheers loxy just deciding wether to cut a feed in the front bumper?

If you don't have fog lights, put it in the hole there. You can get surrounds on eBay that neaten the fog light hole up for an air feed.
