Bootlid out of alignment

Hi all.

i have just got my second type R EP3 after selling my first one
there is one issue with it the bootlid is sitting high at the top where it meets the roof
if I open it I can move it like the bolts are loss (but they are not) me thinking it's the bolts not holding
bootlid to hinge. Can anyone help?

What happends with this is the hinge siezes up & with still opening the tailgate it splits the tailgate behind where the hinge bolts on

So is it the case a new tailgate is needed or bolts?

New tailgate & hinge or 2nd hand one , just make sure the 2nd hand 1 isnt split
