Brake fault

Hi

Got my nhb ctr on Friday and love it to bits! no complaints with it at all but this morning when i took the handbrake off and pulled forward there was a very loud clunk noise as if the brakes had seized on.
Its not done it before and the only thing i did differently was wash the car yesterday eve.
Its done 47k and full service history so think its been fairly well looked after.

Is it something i should worry about or just be wary of it happening again?

It's just the rear pads corroded to the disks from getting wet, perfectly normal for a car with rear discs.
