Brands Hatch Friday Feb 5th 2010 Club discounts

2010 is nearly with us so we are looking forward to the new season and we’re starting in the south this year with a Trackaction-Online club day at Brands Hatch.

This will be an open pitlane trackday on the Indy circuit with a 105db noise limit. As usual we will be limiting the numbers to ensure that everyone gets plenty of tracktime and we will have free instruction available for any drivers that want it.

Brands is a great circuit, fast, flowing and very challenging so well worth a visit and we’ve got the usual club pricing available. The list price for the day is £150 but we’ve agreed a club rate of £125; passengers can be signed in for £10 and extra drivers for £35, garages can be pre-booked for £20.

Thanks to the support of clubs and forums like yours we’ve had a great 2009 and we’re hoping to carry that into next year so if you’d like to come along you can book HERE, if you post up on this thread I’ll PM you the discounted booking code.

PS - If you are looking likely to end up with socks and yet another Clarkson DVD, it might be a good time to drop a few hints to the better half that this would make a good xmas pressie!

Good price for OPL at Brands, but £20 for garages, which are pretty much 100% needed in Winter, is a little pricey (in my opinion!)

I think we'll be after about 50 cars to make the day run with little or no queueing but I'll be talking to Brands to confirm the best numbers.

Unfortunately there will be more drivers than garages so charging to reserve them allows us to keep the main entry price as low as possible and it means that the first guys to book get the chance to ensure they have one. Any garages that aren't reserved will be available FOC on the day on a first come first served basis (I probably should have mentioned that on my original post ). We also chuck in a couple of free garages for any larger groups that book.

We had a great day out at Brands, a wet start with one unfortunate casualty (car, not driver!) but only three red flags all day, very little queueing and great behaviour on track from all the drivers. We had everything from Porsches to Peugeots and Skylines to Minis out there and all going very well indeed!

I'd forgotten just how steep Paddock Hill is!

Big thanks to all the guys that came along for making it such a good day, if anyone wants to get some more Trackaction don’t forget we are at Cadwell on March 26th and we will be drifting at Oulton on March 13th, threads are on here or shout up for booking info to get the club discount!
