Bridgestone potenza 050a owners HELP

I have just had fitted some 215 45 17 tyres. They should be protenzas but they only said Bridgestone on the side wall, not potenza 050. Am I right in thinking they have fitted the basic Bridgestone tyres not the potenza 050.

What else do they have written on them? Mine say RE050a.

They say nothing else other than Bridgestone. That's why I'm worried

Mine say Bridgestone Potenza, got them about a year ago so maybe they changed the design?

Design hasn't changed as far as I'm aware. I got some fitted before Xmas. Get some photos, particularly of the thread pattern and I'll tell you.

215/45/17 is not the correct OEM size either. Its should be 205/45/17

My RE050A's are 215.

I've sorted it had a mad moment. Completely misses the 050a markings

And yeah standard size is 205 but went for the 215. They we £25 cheaper each tyre.

215 is fine. The tread pattern will be a give away
