Video clip BC race manifold on RSX-S

Like all other JDM race manifolds, it requires JDM front anti-roll bar.
Apparently US 02 EM2 Civic front anti-roll bar fits on RSX Type-S so it may fit on our EP3. Part # 51300-S5D-A01

Looks a decent bit of kit, the springs maybe a bad idea not sure really

The Jackson dont use any of this, and has no flex pipe and had no problems with mine.

where as the Flex pipe on the Toda seems to be a weak link, not sure that this is becasue I have uprated mounts etc etc not sure
 
The springs on my BC Spec III cat back rusted off within about 6 months.
Nice as it looks, I'd want evidence that it doesn't snap after 12 months of use.

Plus surely the slip over design is going to give a less laminar flow of exhaust gases? Plus the Toda looks to have marginally less bends too!

One measure the dirty air going in and the other measures the clean coming out supposing that the CAT was still installed.

Cracking looking piece of kit. I'm very interested to see what kind of power this makes.
 
From the original thread at clubrsx:
BCRH:
1 7/8" ID at the flange.
1 3/4" OD primaries.
2" OD secondaries (merged into 2 pipes at this point)
2.5" OD collector.

SSR:
OD stepped from 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" 2.5" collector.
As measured by someone else on the forums.

JRRH:
1 3/4" ID at the flange.
1 5/8" OD.
2" OD where they merge to 2 pipes.
header collector is 2 1/4"
testpipe exit is 2 1/4"

Anyone got some measures on the Toda for comparison?
 
Car made 245bhp using BC Race Header, ProSpec exhaust, Toda A3 cams and K-Pro.

Pretty much the same as a Toda I believe?

But whatever happened to that J's Racing mani that was supposed to be released for the CTR??

I remember someone posting pics up but then it went silent after that.

That was the one that I was most interested in when comparing other manifolds to the Toda.

But, now that my CTR is going next month what do I really care anymore?? :p :p :roll: :lol:
