Cannot decide on exhaust for civic ep3, need help!!!!

Hi all,

I want to get a new sports exhaust system for my type r ep3 05 plate and just cannot decide and would like some advice from some people with experience/expertise, I have been doing a lot of research and have found the following,

I really want this http://www.nengun.com/fujitsubo/rm-01a
although this price seems to good to be true for this system and wondered if anyone has used this company before, as they are based in Japan and import to UK, any feedback would be appreciated.

I have also been checking out this system from UK http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/230532922641?cm ... C&gxo=true with this back box http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/230582008240?nav=SEARCH

Also checked this out and really like it
http://www.tegiwaimports.com/skunk2-meg ... -ep3-4236/

Although have seen this can be a pain to fit In some cases, as modification to your vehicles "cat/decat to system flange" may be needed for perfect fitment due to oversize tubing.

I have looked into unsilenced b pipes with oem back box, although would prefer full cat back system, b pipe and muffler.

My head is killing me right now trying to think of the best system for both performance and sound and could do with some expert advice on the matter.

Any feedback is much appreciated, thanks all.

I have recently fitted a full system, japspeed 4-2-1 decat manifold and dc sports cat back, manifold will be getting removed as soon as I can find the funds for another header and cat as it's just too loud.

if you like noise it's a good setup but being an early riser for work the neighbours must be swearing at 6 every morning

Exhaust system purchased today and will be here tomorrow, I decided to go with tegiwa cat back exhaust - fujitsubo-RM-01A replica, got this new from tegiwaimports and got a good deal on this, excited now to fit this at the weekend :)

Dc mid pipe unsilenced I'm sure mate, burble on downshift is outstanding but just too loud day to day so has got to go.

Sounds like a nice system mate, shame it has too go, I'm an early riser as well, just had a standard system since I bought it 5yrs ago, and I'm now modding the car up for track so noise levels need to be a certain dB level and the one I got is ok on track :)

Fitted the exhaust this morning and I can say I'm really impressed with it, quality system, fitted perfect with no issues and sounds great, welding is of top quality, I would recommend this system, really happy!!

Heard it in the flesh earlier today.
I am impressed. Nice burble on tickover. Was too wet to do drive by. We will try to get a vid tomorrow. :)

How's the tegiwa cat back going mate everything still ok with it? I'm currently stuck between the rm01a and the tegiwa rep ...I've heard that the rm01a give better gains though? That what's tipping me toward it .....

The tegiwa cat back system lasted 2 weeks bro and the b pipe split, got a new b pipe and that split as well at the same place, I ended up getting a refund and I bought a custom built solid fab exhaust, all I can say is it's the best exhaust I have ever had, apparently they have strengthened the b pipes now but I wouldn't buy one myself, the exhaust from tegiwa performed and sounded good, just poor quality :( I hope this helps.

Oh lol ......well my tegiwa system had arrived today so hopefully they have sorted the problem out. Thanks for your reply thought bud. Much appreciated

Just out of interest buddy where about's did it go on the b pipe ?

It kept failing and cracking at the b pipe where it meets the silencer box,

If you have one of the new ones that they have made, it should have a rectangular plate there now to reinforce it.

The new mid pipes have extra piece of metal welded to it. This should prevent the cracking problem.

You still looking for a RM01A?

Mine will be going up on the forum shortly.
