CD Player Advice (Pioneer)

The DC2 I have bought (picking up Saturday) has this stereo fitted,

Its model number is DEH-P77MP, I have looked up the spec but its all gobbledygook to me - I never even changed from the factory fit stereo in the CTR!

I think it costs around £250 new - Does anyone know if its any good?? Or how long they have been on the market etc...

I know I like the way it looks!

I had one in my CTR for about 2 years, loved it, its now in louise's car.
