FN2 Changing fog lights and the bulbs

Do you have to remove the whole bumper to replace the fog lights. What about just changing the bulbs, surely that is straight forward and no need to take half the car off.

No it is bumper off.

You might be able to get to the drivers side with an extension to socket wrench with 10mm socket but passenger side is blocked by the air box.

It's an easy job to get the bumper off anyway, takes 10-15 mins, just watch out for the two 10mm bolts either side of the centre as they can shear, lots of plusgas should solve it.
The rest are easy but be careful with the arch trims as there are some delicate tabs, one with screw, one with plastic clip.

Do you have to jack the car and remove the wheels to carry this out.

Wheels stay on but you might need to get the car raised slightly to access the clips & bolts/screws under the front of the bumper until you get familiar with where they all are.
Just depends on how big you are and whether your tools will get at them - I can manage it and I ain't small.
