Just in case anybody in the North East wants these tyres I got four Yoko Parada Spec 2 fitted for £66.50 at Tyrespot in Darlington. Now I know the guy who works there so I got them at a special price but he said if anybody else wanted then he can do them for about £70 each fitted.

Their address and number is Tyrespot Ltd, McMullen Road, Darlington, DL1 1YB. Tel: 01325 488007.

Unfortunately I don't think they deliver (give them a ring to find out) and they can't get 205x45R17, only the 215x40R17. They got my tyres in within two days.

There are other Tyrespots so you might get the same deal there if you ask.

Understand what your saying, I don't like the owner much, he is an ignorant tw*t, but if your wheels are kerbed already as my standard ones are, just tell them to be careful with them, they get the picture. And yes it was the place where the young lad died, that was about 10 years ago, I have been around the workshop there on occasions and it does look safe.

I just had two Potz replaced by Watling Tyres in Redhill (behind the Ford Garage on the A23) £99 per corner all in - which seems fairly competitive for the London area.

I had my tracking checked ther a couple of months ago and I mentioned that I'd be needing new tyres soon. The blokey said off the top of his head that they'd be about £82-ish fitted! :shock:
