civic EP3 Idle Issue

Hi All

I have an idle problem with my civic EP3, when its cold it idles at 2000rpm which seems a bit high, once it has warmed up all seems normal, I was told that it could be the idle control valve, so I gave that a clean, but no joy, then I replaced the throttle body to see if that sorted it , but again no joy. it never used to run like this and I would love it if it was normal again,

any ideas ?

My ep3,s similar on cold start,i got told they,re all like this from cold?
So not sure ?

all like this. Fast idle to hlep heat the CAT asap.

Have you changed anything like the exhaust or intake?

My ep3 has a k&n typhoon kit on when i bought it.standard exhaust..

it has just got an aem v2 air filter on

That is normal. The engine revs high when cold, this is to warn the engine up.
