Clicking noise from engine area??

Just back home after a night out, parked the ctr and when i got out theres a clicking noise coming from drivers side which is kinda loud, dont know if its because its very quiet with it being late but sounded loud?

Ive not noticed this before, should i worry

i am going to check the usual in the morn when its light ie oil etc

the noise did stop after a min, i wasnt even ragging the car

engine had just stopped, going to have a butchers now its light out there

Sounds like it might the headlight adjusters. Is it a sort of motor sounding click...try moving the the headlight adjust dial thing.

Very common fault, had mine replaced a few months ago.

Definately sounds like it. I had mine replaced under warranty. Mine clicked for about a year, then gave up altogether, and you could see the beam level wasn't budging on that side when you used the adjuster.

Er hang on, headlight adjusters have no power with the engine off.
